J&J prepares for BCLA showcase

Acuvue Oasys 1-Day for astigmatism to go on show at the BCLA Conference

Johnson & Johnson Vision has announced plans to showcase its new Acuvue Oasys 1-Day for astigmatism at the 40th BCLA Conference this month.

The latest Acuvue line was claimed to have the largest parameter range of any daily disposable toric lens, with a further extension in September.

It has HyrdraLuxe technology to integrate with the patients’ tear film, and an eyelid stabilised design.

The company will be a platinum sponsor at the BCLA conference and exhibition, being held at ACC Liverpool from June 9-11.

A poster relating to Acuvue Oasys 1-Day for astigmatism will also be presented there by Dr Ben Straker entitiled ‘Fitting performance, efficiency and subjective response with a new silicone hydrogel, daily disposable, toric contact lens’.
