John Wiseman MC Celebratory luncheon

A subscription luncheon to celebrate the life of the late John Wiseman MC  will be held on June 2 at the Honorable Artillery Company in the City of London.

Johnny Wiseman, who died last September, was decorated in the Second World War and was a massive figure in the post-war UK spectacle business.

Wiseman left his body to medical science and so no funeral took place and the lunch is seen as an appropriate way in which his friends and colleague can celebrate his life and mark his contribution to optics.
