Optical practice sales and training company Positive Impact has hired former Bausch+Lomb national accounts manager Rob Jones as its head of business development.
Jones has been tasked with expanding the number of companies contracting to use Positive Impact's outsourced sales personnel, as well as providing account management services for some clients.
He said: 'I'm very pleased to be back in the optical sector and to able to bring my skill-set to the already extensive list of sales and training services provided by Positive Impact.
'I have personally commissioned similar businesses in the pharmaceutical sector and so have witnessed first-hand the success achievable by being able to flex the size of a company's field sales resource, based on the changing demands of the business.
'I look forward to enlightening the optical industry as to the financial and other benefits of sales outsourcing.'
