Louis Walsh assists SWOTY judging

Former X Factor judge Louis Walsh was lined up to judge Specsavers’ 20th annual Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards this week.

Held at 8 Northumberland Avenue, London on October 6, the awards were hosted by Bradley Walsh with other celebrities including Emma Bunton, Joey Essex and Sarah Harding also in attendance.

Louis Walsh said: ‘I’m thrilled to be judging the event, not only will it be great fun but it’s all for an excellent cause. So many young people are bullied for all sorts of reasons including the way they look and what they wear. Occasions like this are a fantastic way to celebrate people from all walks of life, not least ordinary people who look extraordinarily great in their glasses.’
