An anti-smoking campaign by The Macular Society called 'Is It Real?' premiered in UK cinemas this week.
Around 1.6m teenagers were expected to see the campaign at summer blockbuster films including Transformers – Age of Extinction and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
The campaign was aiming to raise awareness of the link between smoking and age-related macular degeneration, amid findings reported by the charity that smokers were up to four times more likely to get AMD than non-smokers.
