An Ashton-in-Makerfield-based practice marked the 25th anniversary of their practice manager, Charlotte Tomlinson.
Makerfield Eye Centre celebrated Tomlinson's 25th year, recognising her progression from receptionist to optical assistant, before qualifying as a dispensing optician in 2017, and advancing to her current position as practice manager.
Since she began, Tomlinson has witnessed the practice change ownerships and big changes in the world of eyecare, including the development of lenses, scans and digital images, and the expansion of children's frame styles.
Practice co-director Dhiren Patel said: 'Charlotte is a pillar of the practice and holds a very important place in our team and family. She has worked very hard to get to where she is...and has also become a mum to two wonderful daughters.
