Deputy mayor visit marks practice’s 18th anniversary

North London-based Glasses to Go Opticians welcomed Deputy Mayoress of Camden, Councillor Samata Khatoon in-store on October 10 to mark its 18th anniversary.

Councillor Khatoon joined practice owner and dispensing optician Shaileen Shah, senior optometrist Ziggy Shah and senior sales manager Charles Prempeh along with local business owners and customers.

Following a tour of the premises, Councillor Khatoon delivered an address to the employees and community members, commending Glasses to Go on its positive impact on the local economy.

‘It's an absolute pleasure to witness first-hand the incredible work being done right here in our community. It serves as a prime example of the entrepreneurial spirit and dedication that drives our local and the wider businesses,’ she said.
