A new Specsavers practice in Southampton played host to the city's Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor Terry Matthews (centre) and Lesley Matthews, at its official opening ceremony recently.
The 2,000sq ft practice, which has relocated to Above Bar Street, has taken on three new members of staff, added six new consulting rooms and introduced an audiology testing room.
Richard Morgan, store director, said: 'Our relocation and team expansion ensures that our customers will receive the best possible care and demonstrates our commitment to Southampton. We feel very positive about trading in the town and we're hoping to make new additions to the team in the coming year.'
