Eyewear manufacturer and distributor Marchon has reported a positive outlook for 2015 after its attendance at the Mido trade fair last week.
The company forecast 7 per cent growth at constant exchange rates with significant expectations on the development in high potential growth markets and segments such as Asia.
In 2014 Marchon recorded worldwide eyewear and sunwear sales of $979m. With the inclusion of insurance services from VSP Global, revenue climbed to $4.5bn.
‘Our portfolio is rich and well balanced and we continue to look at demographic trends, specifically in fastest-growing markets,’ said Marchon president and CEO Claudio Gottardi.
