Mido expands into seven halls

Mido will return to Fieramilano Rho centre on February 3-5 for its 52nd edition and organisers anticipated that it would be its biggest show yet.

Around 1,200 exhibitors will take up seven halls at the venue with 45 countries represented across eight show areas covering eyewear, tech, lenses and design.

Giovanni Vitaloni, president of Mido, said: ‘Visitors from more than 130 countries will throng the Fieramilano Rho pavilions during the three days of the show, conducting business, building relationships and discussing the future of the industry, all elements that make a meaningful and, we hope, positive contribution to the performance of the optical and eyewear sectors throughout the year.’

New at the exhibition this year was the Mido Midday Talks at the Future Concept Lab and the market insights section, which will discuss trends and purchasing habits, at the OttiClub area.
