
In less than three weeks, Mido 2025 will welcome more than 1,200 exhibitors from over 50 countries to its Fiera Milano Rho venue, with an additional 1,000 square metres compared to 2024.
Pavillion six has been expanded to host the Academy, Start-up and Mido Tech areas alongside a new green-inspired installation, while pavilions two and four, where design and design tech are based, also gained more space for innovations.
Pavillion one has also undergone renovations, with the Fashion district hosting the Mido Awards ceremony in its piazza; while pavilion three will be home to Lenses; and pavilions five and seven will host Fair East, which is dedicated to exhibitors from Asia.
Talks will explore topics such as 2025 and 2026 consumer trends, female optical professionals’ journeys, optical and medical industry collaboration, and sustainability.
Among the talks on Saturday, February 8, will be presentations of ‘2025 trends’ (11am); ‘The new dimensions of colour’ (12pm); ‘The lens of time’ (1:30pm), and ‘Breaking optical barriers: women who conquered the climb to success’ (4pm).
Scheduled for Sunday, February 9, are meetings on the topics of ‘Diversity, equity and inclusion’ (11am); ‘Future Consumer 2026’ (1pm); ‘Sport and Vision event: the importance of visual health in the practice of sports’ (3pm); ‘Market research data’ (4pm); ‘Shared visions: projects and prospects for integration between the optical and medical arenas (5pm).
