Organisers of Mido have claimed the changing of the show's dates from May to March has proved a success after the 2010 event attracted the same number of exhibitors as 2009.
Despite the financial crisis facing most of the world's economies, over 1,000 exhibitors will attend the 2010 show, being held at Milan's Rho-Pero exhibition complex from March 5-7.
'We are proud of the trust that companies place in us. In an economic context like the one we are facing today, having confirmed the same number of exhibitors as the previous edition is a significant acknowledgment of the important role Mido plays as a section fair,' said Mido president Vittorio Tabacchi.
