Mikli reports strong sales

Alain Mikli International reported an 8 per cent increase in turnover for the financial year ending August 31, with strong results in France (+20 per cent) and the US (+26 per cent).

The results do not include the company's Vuarnet side of business Sporoptic Pouillox Corporation. Mikli added that China remained a very buoyant market (+23 per cent), while Japan dropped heavily (-11 per cent) after the Fukushima catastrophe, with Italy (-10 per cent) and Spain (-5 per cent) also down.

'All our brands are growing, with a special mention for Starck Eyes, which has experienced a significantly sharp increase for two years,' said a company spokesman.
