Leading eyewear designer Alain Mikli has closed a deal to bring new financial and management partners into Alain Mikli International.
Speaking to American optical news service Vision Monday, the designer confirmed that he had joined forces with UK-based NEO Investments, a boutique finance firm, and Dominique Alba, a former head of Logo SA, to finance the restructure of the business to position it for the future.
Mikli, who retains 47 per cent of the business, will now concentrate his role on the creative direction of the business, product development and communications. Alba will oversee the management of the company which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary.
