Three members of staff from Richard Ward Opticians in Hampshire recently visited eastern Uganda to hand over the keys of a new Toyota 4x4 pick-up truck to the Providence Children's Home in the remote village of Nkokonjeru.
The vehicle will be used to transport sick children to and from the Ugandan capital of Kampala. Richard Ward, Toby Howcroft and Debbie Young also performed eye tests on hundreds of Nkokonjeru's villagers.
