Mondottica has announced an agreement with fashion house SMCP Group to develop eyewear collections for the brands Sandro and Maje.
The licences are for full optical and sun products, resulting in six collection launches in autumn 2017, including women and men for Sandro and women for Maje.
Extension of product offering in fashion accessories was an important driver of SMCP’s growth strategy following the development of leather goods and shoes which showed excellent results in 2016, said a Mondottica spokesperson.
Mondottica founder and CEO Michael Jardine said: ‘Sandro and Maje are the perfect brands for us. They have incredible power and respect in the French market, they are two of the world's fastest growing apparel brands globally, and they define the affordable luxury space that is our home. We are truly proud to be partners with the amazing teams at SMCP.’
