Moorfields named Eye Show charity partner

Debut optical and ophthalmic exhibition The Eye Show has announced that Moorfields Eye Charity (MEC) will be the event's official charity partner.

Rob Aldous, MEC director of fundraising, said: 'We are delighted that The Eye Show has named us its "Official Show Charity". This major event will provide us with a great opportunity to raise the profile of the charity, while generating funds to support Moorfields Eye Hospital.'

Dawn Kime, organiser of The Eye Show, said the company would work closely with MEC to help promote their work and ensure they maximise fund raising opportunities at the show.

The Eye Show is scheduled to take place on February 12-14 2013 at London's ExCel exhibition centre.
