A team of specialists from Moorfields Eye Hospital's Macular Clinic have won the award for Best Clinical Service of the year at the Macular Disease Society's annual London conference.

The hospital said the award, part of the society's 25th Anniversary Awards for Excellence, recognised the team's exceptionally good practise in the care of people with macular disease.

Actress and charity patron Gemma Craven (far left) presented the award to the clinic's Adam Mapani, Androulla Antoniou and Robin Hamilton (left to right) at the conference.
