
Specsavers and Boots Opticians have both placed inside the top 20 among the Which? 100 best and worst brands for customer service 2019 rankings.
A group of nearly 4,000 consumers rated Specsavers joint 6th alongside AO.com and Screwfix and ahead of Apple (joint 9th), with an overall rating of 84%. Staff at the multiple scored five stars for their attitude and helpfulness, while the company scored four stars for resolving problems and making customers feel valued.
Boots Opticians finished in joint 16th alongside the likes of John Lewis and M+S Food and achieved a rating of 80%.
The multiples’ high average scores meant that optometric retail was rated overall as the best sector for customer service.
