A visit late last year to the British Optical Association museum inspired special needs pupils from Swiss Cottage SEN School to create their own eyewear designs.
A spokesperson from the school said: 'The children had a wonderful time. The College was spot on with both content and style, and the children worked on the project suggested with great enthusiasm.'
Pictured is one of the designs, about which museum curator Neil Handley commented: 'Quilenn spotted that sometimes we don't want to wear our glasses and have to perch them on our foreheads. That way our friends can still share in our fantastic fashion sense.'
