Mykita's Damir Doma model features in Milan show

Mykita has seen its Damir Doma model Bradfield featured on the runway in Milan at the Damir Doma Spring Summer 2016 Women’s show.

Another interesting piece joining the collaboration between Mykita and Croatian fashion designer Doma, is Madeleine, which uses the same layered aesthetic to create a 3D effect.

The avant-garde German eyewear marque said at first glance, the perfectly round Madeleine appears to consist of two frames, but a closer look reveals the trompe l’oeil construction.

The frame is made of a simple piece of metal folded in half and melded into shape.

The distinctive result creates a look in which two fine circular lenses hover in front of more solid round rims. The strikingly modern effect is further accentuated by contrasting colours.
