New equipment for Plymouth centre

Plymouth University's eye clinic, the Centre for Eye Excellence, has installed a DRS retinal camera from Haag-Streit UK.

The camera will be used by third-year optometry students and will form part of the University's optometry programme.

Plymouth University optometry technician Abby Pearce, pictured with Haag-Streit UK area sales manager Martin Harbourne, said: 'Our aim was to provide our students with a clinic that is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipment, so the DRS was an obvious choice. The camera boasts many exciting features. However, it's the simplicity and ease-of-use of the camera that will greatly benefit the students on our programme.'
