More than 22,000 visitors from over 90 countries braved snow and sub-zero temperatures to attend last weekend’s Vision Expo East trade show at the Javits Center in New York, organisers have confirmed.
Joint show owners, the Vision Council and Reed Exhibitions, said this year’s event focused on a new theme – Visionaries in Education, Fashion, and Technology. To achieve this, the organisers took a number of measures, including the relocation of the Galleria and Underground eyewear halls to level three, nearer the main eyewear and accessories hall, a move which they said was the result of two years of research and planning.
