Optometry Scotland has reported the death of dispensing optician Graeme Thomson
Optometry Scotland has reported the untimely death of Graeme Thomson, who passed away last week at the age of 45.
Originally from Aberdeenshire, he joined Boots Opticians in 1991 working in Glasgow.
He enrolled as a student DO soon afterwards working in practices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, before eventually moving to Nottingham where he worked in various practices and eventually at a support office in Beeston.
‘Graeme will be sadly missed by all his colleagues and our thoughts go out to his partner Rob and his family,’ a statement by Optometry Scotland added.
