Practice software specialist Ocuco has established a new department to help improve further its customer services.
The Berkshire-based firm, which will have a presence at Optrafair, has established a new 'Professional Services Department' and now has a total of 34 people after recruiting more than a dozen new members of staff.
New offices have been acquired adjacent to the company's building to accommodate the expansion which will house a new training centre and a nine-strong industry development team.
Ten people are assigned to the new professional services department, along with seven technical support engineers. It will address a long-standing request of the company's user group, and provide post-sales consultancy to practice owners, enabling them to make the most of their application. The department will also be responsible for new installations, training and supporting optical outlets from installation to the full use of the system.
