OO killed in car accident

Mizan Ibrahim Ali, a 26-year-old optometrist, has been killed in a car crash.

The tragedy happened in the early morning of December 28 when he and his cousin, Hassan Ahmed, 24, were driving in Mizan's Jaguar XKR in the direction of Mumbles, South Wales.

Both died when the vehicle struck a lamppost opposite Ashleigh Road playing fields in Swansea, reported the South Wales Evening Post (December 30).

Mizan, who had only hours earlier said goodbye to his mother when she flew to Saudi Arabia for a religious pilgrimage, worked for Specsavers Opticians in Kilburn, London.
