Optegra and Zeiss partner for educational day

Optegra and Zeiss have partnered to host an educational event where optometrists can try their hand at laser eye or cataract surgery.

The event on July 6 will be held at Conference Aston in Birmingham and will feature practical learning workshops and panel discussions with ophthalmologists.

Professor Miguel Amaro, who holds positions at two private eye hospitals in Portugal, will present the keynote about medical retina.

Professor Clare O’Donnell, head of Optegra Eye Sciences, said: ‘We are delighted to be partnering with ZEISS to bring this symposium to professionals in the eye care industry.
