Optical Express looks to recruit 50 new optomestrists

Optical Express has embarked on a recruitment drive that it hoped would see up to 50 new optometrists appointed across the UK.

The multiple said the aim of the initiative was to attract, develop and retain the best talent as competition for optical professionals continued to grow.

The vacancies range from pre-registration optometrists seeking to qualify to experienced specialist refractive optometrists who assess eye surgery patients pre- and post-procedure.

Last month the multiple announced an ‘unprecedented’ CET project, aimed at providing a greater understanding of technology used in advanced eye surgery procedures.
