Dispensing optician Iqbal Nabi has been found guilty of two charges of fraud at Hove Crown Court, according to the authority that instigated the investigations into his conduct. NHS Protect said the jury took 30 minutes to consider its verdict after an eight-day trial. Along with co-accused Dr Helen James, Nabi is due to appear for sentencing on July 25 at Lewes Crown Court. Dr James entered a guilty plea before the trial.

Menicon has won three major advertising awards for its Magic flat-pack daily disposable contact lens packaging. The company won a Gold Award for Brand and Identity Experience at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity along with awards for package design at the CLIO and The One Show awards.
