An eye health survey by the Royal College of General Practitioners and UK Vision Strategy has been launched to gauge current levels of awareness among GPs. Dr Waqaar Shah, Royal College of General Practitioners clinical champion for eye health, said: ‘It is essential for us to understand what the current level of knowledge GPs and practice teams have about eye health and sight loss so we can use these results to inform the clinical priority programme over the next three years and assess its impact.’

Its Ortho-k Road Show will visit London, Liverpool, Cardiff, Leeds, Southampton, Newcastle and Manchester during the first four months of the year.
