Laser eye surgery company Optimax has introduced iFS IntraLase lasers across its UK clinics with the aim of offering a safer and faster procedure for patients.
The laser engine is described as running almost three times faster than the previous model, which means that the cornea is exposed for less time. The company added that the new lasers also reduced the risk of complications that could lead to halos, glare and potential night vision problems.
