Optix joins Evex Group

Optix Software has joined iPro and Amparex practice management software (PMS) providers to form the Evex Group, which will provide support to 7,000 optical and audiology providers across Europe.

Trevor Rowley will remain as managing director of Optix Software and said the new group would provide additional scale and security to Optix users.

‘We plan to create a single pan-European PMS product which will be built using our cutting edge Optix 2 technology with appropriate bespoke extensions for the different market requirements,’ Rowley said.

Dr Toni Schmidt, CEO of the Evex Group, said the company was the market leader in the German-speaking PMS market and adding Optix would complement its iPro and Amparex businesses.
