MSP Jim Eadie has been 'optomapped' during a visit to an exhibition at the Scottish Parliament.
He lent his support to instrument manufacturer Optos during the Life Sciences Exhibition in Edinburgh, saying: 'Such technology has enormous potential for helping with the early diagnosis of various eye and other conditions such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes. I would encourage all NHS boards to consider investing in this superb example of healthcare innovation.'
Eadie was pictured during a screening with Anne-Marie Cairns, the company's vice president of clinical optomapping.
