
Researchers at the Institute of Optometry have celebrated getting 10 publications in refereed journals since 2020.
Studies have explored topics such as contact lenses for keratoconus, computer vision syndrome, ocular coherence tomography for macular lesions and optometric referrals.
Professor Bruce Evans, director of research at the Institute of Optometry, said: ‘It has been a busy period and I am very grateful to our doctorate students and my co-supervisors and collaborators in these recent studies, especially Dr Robert Yammouni, Professor David Edgar, Dr Rakhee Shah and Professor Peter Allen.’
Evans predicted another busy few years at the Institute because it had several studies under way and new ideas in the pipeline.
