ABDO president Peter Black was presented with a Long Service Award by Conlons Opticians after reaching a 25-year landmark at the independent chain.
He was presented with the honour during an annual award ceremony at the Marriot Hotel in Broughton, Preston, last month.
Conlons director Peter Barton (pictured right) said: ‘Peter has had a hugely positive impact on our business and he has consistently provided a top level of service to the company. He has proved that his positive attitude and excellent customer service and management skills are a winning formula for success.’
Carl Zeiss sponsored the event and awarded Conlons’ Formby branch for the independent’s highest increase in Zeiss lens sales over the year.
