Costa, US maker of polarised performance sunglasses, has introduced a new progressive lens technology to its sunwear for watersports and outdoor enthusiasts.
The C-SCAPE lens is based on Costa's patented 580 lens technology which includes coatings to reduce glare and colour enhancers to improve contrast.
The digitally surfaced lenses are made at Costa's US lab and come in glass or plastic on wrapped lens geometries. Costa's plano product is currently sold in the UK through high-end activity stores but the firm is starting to build an Rx network within UK opticians. Shipping to the UK is estimated at 14 days.
