Practice director completes Ultra fundraising challenge for Mind

The managing director of a Coventry-based Hakim Group independent practice completed a 50km Ultra fundraising challenge through the Lake District on June 8 to raise funds for mental health charity, Mind.

Emma White, an ambassador of mental health and wellbeing, decided to take on the gruelling 50km run having received bereavement support from Mind following the loss of her two children and mother.

A raffle was held at the Canley practice throughout May with prizes donated by Tesco and Boots along with a voucher for Penny Farthing Public House on Gramercy Park. The practice also offered minor repairs and adjustments in return for donations towards White’s fundraising efforts.
