Practice is proud to be loud

Matlock-based David Bray Opticians is holding a 'Proud to be Loud' event this month in aid of Beating Bowel Cancer's annual 'Loud Tie 2007' fundraising campaign.

The practice has created an eye-catching window display of giant ties and has pledged to make a donation to the charity for each customer who wears a loud tie when booking an appointment. The campaign aims to raise funds to fight bowel cancer, the UK's second biggest cancer killer, claiming almost 50 lives every day, and David Bray says he hopes to raise hundreds of pounds for the cause.
