Carl Zeiss Vision lens consultant Prem Davda died on Monday December 10 aged 60, after a long illness.
Marketing and communications director Peter Robertson described Davda as a highly respected consultant, who started his career with Carl Zeiss in 1978 when the company was still based in London's West End. 'He was a lynchpin in the company's lens division where he provided Zeiss technical and dispensing support to several generations of dispensing staff. His optical knowledge and expertise were complemented by his gentle and polite manner and he will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.'
