Following the recent acquisition of French eyewear brand Face à Face, Danish eyewear firm ProDesign and its private equity fund owner Erhvervsinvest have announced the purchase of fellow Danish designer Inface.
ProDesign said the acquisition of Inface complemented its current product portfolio from a price perspective and that it strengthen the position of the group significantly.
‘The mergers complement ProDesign’s business model and support the strategy to grow organically and through acquisitions,’ said Dion Eriksen, CEO of ProDesign.
Eriksen added: ‘Products from Face à Face and Inface fill out a void in the current product line. Furthermore, there is a large unexploited market potential for both companies. Consequently, we expect the growth rates for both companies to reach the same level as for the existing company. We also expect to benefit from the experience of each company which will contribute to the continuous development of the group.’
