Sauflon’s full suite of daily disposables represent the future model of contact lens provision, according to a presentation by Professor Nathan Efron.

Its full ‘family’ of Clariti daily lenses, including sphere, toric and multifocal options, provided a template for the contact lens market over the coming decade, the prominent Australian optometrist  told practitioners at an event hosted by Sauflon earlier this week.

‘Daily disposables really are a miracle of modern-day ophthalmic science,’ Professor Efron said, also crediting UK wearers for embracing the daily disposable trend. While Denmark was leading the charge with 57 per cent daily penetration, the UK was ‘sitting very proudly in the top echelons of countries’, he said.
