Carl Zeiss Vision has released the latest generation of its progressive GT2 3D lens. The new lens, called Progressive Superb, has been upgraded to include FrameFit technology, which the manufacturer said allowed practitioners to adapt corridor lengths to the needs of each patient and increase the number of frame style options.
The manufacturer said conventional progressive lenses limited wearers to two basic corridor lengths - standard and short, which were unable to provide optimal vision in all frame sizes and added that the introduction of a customised corridor length would bring wider and more balanced fields of vision. The lenses are also compatible with the manufacturer's thinning prism algorithms.
