The 37th Mido exhibition (May 4-7) has confirmed a 14 per cent increase in exhibition space compared to the 2006 event.
The fair in the new Fiera Milano complex in Rho-Pero will cover 52,500sqm and according to the organisers it shows the decision to move the show was the correct one. The growth trend also extends to exhibitors, with an 8 per cent rise in attendance figures on the previous exhibition.
Organisers describe Mido 2007 as a record breaking event, and a forum for the entire eyewear world. New for the show is Mido Design Lab, an evolution of the Mido Trend area, that is focused on design products and prototypes.
