MyCon lenses for children

Rodenstock’s 2023 financial results revealed a net sales increase from €505.3m to €506.1m, driven by sales of its Biometric Intelligent Glasses B.I.G. Vision biometric progressive lenses and launch of MyCon lenses for children.

The ophthalmic lens company reported a recurring 0.3% increase in EBITDA of €122.3m for the year, despite ongoing geopolitical risks with tensions in the Middle East as well as continued inflation.

A further 8% sales growth was reported for the B.I.G. Vision product portfolio of biometric progressive lenses, part of the company’s B.I.G. Vision strategy and transformation into a med-tech company. MyCon lenses for children are designed to correct short-sightedness, ensure sharp vision and counteract the progression of myopia.
