Sauflon has extended its range of Clariti reusable toric contact lenses with the introduction of a wider parameter selection. The lenses use Sauflon's AquaGen silicone hydrogel technology described as giving a highly wettable lens surface and low modulus, maximising comfort while delivering high oxygen transmissibility for optimal ocular health.
The extension includes a -2.25 cylinder and a full range of plus powers, so that the toric now comes in four cylinders: -0.75, -1.25, -1.75 and -2.25, with axes options from 10° to 180° in 10° steps. A full range of plus and minus powers from plano to +6.00 is available. Sauflon added that the extension allowed the majority of astigmatic patients to use the toric.
