Scotlens launches the Presbylite lens

Contact lens firm Scotlens launched the Presbylite RGP Bifocal lens at the recent BCLA conference after a successful year-long trial in Scotland.

The company, from Linlithgow, West Lothian, which is marketing the lens in the UK, adds that the bifocal has been used extensively throughout Europe for over three years. It describes the product as an easy-to-fit monocentric translating lens, which is fitted in the same way as a standard, single-vision RGP. The lens is available in spherical or back-surface toric design, in three materials: Alberta 2, Boston EO and the 100 Dk material Cento. Scotlens has also announced what it describes as a highly competitive solutions/lens package, offering Alcon Optifree Express, combined with the Scotlens Choice 58 UV monthly replacement lens. - Details on 01506 844272.
