Seiko Optical goes for gold

GOING FOR GOLD: Seiko Optical UK has become one of only five companies in the country to have been presented with an Investors in People Gold Award. The award was presented by Gloucester MP Richard Graham, who said: 'I was proud to give the award because it showed great teamwork. No individual can do it alone and great business success is what will lift us back to growth and provide more jobs. Joining the company's UK MD, John Conway, and Seiko staff in the celebrations were Seiko Europe's MD Jurgen Bishoff and director of product management and operations Masaki Sato.
