Shamir achieves ISO standard

Lens producer Shamir has achieved British and European Standard ISO 9001: 2015 for management quality a year before it becomes compulsory.

‘By introducing the revised policy, companies are to comply with ensuring all products are consistently produced to relevant statutory and regulatory standards as well as ensuring the constant improvement of management systems to enhance and reinforce customer satisfaction,’ said a company spokesperson.

The company has also launched the ‘Refer a Friend to the Spark Mi and Receive £100’ campaign. The Spark Mi is a tabletop mirror measurement device that records patient data such as PD and allows the user to access measurements including fitting heights, frame box, DBL, BVD, face form angle and pantoscopic tilt.
