Practices making an appointment to see a Shamir lens consultant between August 1 and October 31 will be entered into a prize draw to win a Shamir Spark Mi measuring device worth £1,750.
The Spark Mi unit is based around a mirror design which the patient simply looks into while wearing their chosen frames. The optician clicks once and the image is captured, before appearing on the computer screen, along with an automatically measured PD.
The user can now get all the other measurements needed from the computer, including fitting height, frame box, DBL, BVD, face form angle and pantoscopic tilt.
