A marketing campaign organised by Sight Care earlier in the month encouraged people to visit their local independent practice.
Community Opticians Day was held on July 11 and Sight Care said it provided display materials as part the campaign.
‘It’s really important for independent retailers to support each other to ensure high streets and local communities thrive,’ said Paul Surridge, Sight Care’s chief executive. ‘We want to encourage people to visit their local practices to experience the quality, service and value for money that independent opticians offer, while also increasing spend in local shops and on the high street.’
